Prototype Implementation for Composition and Simulation of Business Processes

Typically, business processes are developed by composing internal and external processes offered by service providers. The main contribution of this thesis is the implementation of an algorithm for behavior consistent composition of business processes in Java. Additionally to implementing the algorithm a simulation environment was developed, which can be used to simulate the composite process together with the underlying internal and external processes.

Geschäftsprozesse werden normalerweise durch eine Integration von internen und externen, von Dritt-Anbietern zur Verfügung gestellten, Prozessen erstellt. Der Hauptteil dieser Diplomarbeit ist die Implementierung eines Algorithmus zur verhaltenskonsistenten Komposition von Geschäftspozessen in Java. Zusätzlich zur Implementierung des Algorithmus wurde eine einfache Simulationsumgebung entwickelt, mit der der integrierte Prozess gemeinsam mit seinen internen und externen Prozessen getestet werden kann.
